About Goxhill Bowling Club
Membership of Goxhill Bowling Club is open not only to residents of Goxhill but also its many neighbouring villages. In 2024 the Club will be competing in four leagues:
We are keen to introduce newcomers, of all ages, to the pleasures (and sometimes frustrations) of bowling. For family bowlers it is one of the few sports where one can lose to your children, your parents and possibly your grandparents on the same day!
The green is open for bowling throughout the Summer and more: a six month season running from April to September.
Our current membership fees for each season are:
It is our intention that nobody should be denied the chance to enjoy bowls through reasons of cost alone so we provide perhaps the best value entry into the sport in the local area. We have bowls of a variety of sizes available for club members to borrow, so about the only thing that you will have to provide for yourself is a suitable pair of flat shoes. Therefore, if you or your family have previously considered taking up lawn bowling then there has never been a better time.
If you just want to try lawn bowling out of curiosity, or perhaps are being visited by friends or relatives who bowl elsewhere in the country and want to entertain them, then contact any member of Goxhill Bowling Club to come along as a guest. If you do not know any club members then just make contact using the link on the home page of this website.
We want Goxhill Bowling Club to be a vibrant and active part of our community with as broad a membership as possible and to be a sport that truly bridges the generations.
# Junior members must be supervised by an appropriate adult member whenever bowling at, or representing, the Club.

Our current membership fees for each season are:
- £40 for a League Bowler – This provides full membership of the charity and a vote in how it is run. It also entitles you to be registered for, and represent the Club in, various local leagues and competitions. That is on top of using the Club’s facilities and entering its members-only competitions.
- £20 for a Social Bowler – This is a reduced subscription that entitles you to use the Club’s facilities and participate in its competitions but does not give voting membership of the charity. It is aimed particularly at new bowlers and those who do not yet wish to participate in the local bowling leagues. However it may also suit experienced bowlers who are cutting back and just want to be able to enjoy an occasional game.
- £10 for a Junior membership - below the age of 18 years.#
